About Us
Black Scorpion Karate CIC is a dynamic community interest company based in Wigan committed to making karate accessible to all. Our mission is to foster personal growth, physical fitness, and community spirit through martial arts training, focusing on inclusivity and breaking down barriers to participation.
We proudly run a variety of community initiatives, including HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) clubs, designed to engage children and young people during school holidays. In addition, we actively raise funds to provide bursaries and opportunities for individuals facing financial hardship, helping to ensure that no one is excluded from recreational or competitive sports benefits due to financial barriers.
As a club, we celebrate both community impact and competitive success. Many of our students have become national and international karate champions, representing Black Scorpion Karate on prestigious stages across the globe. This blend of grassroots community work and elite athletic development is at the heart of what we do.
